Happy Monday! Chelsea here.

Is it just me or has this summer flown by? I can't believe we're almost halfway through August already and that before we know it, the leaves will be falling and I'll be back on a pumpkin spice kick once again. But we're not there yet, and I intend to savor every last ray of sunshine that summer has to offer. Luckily, one of my favorite movies, the tale of an unapologetic shark that just wants to om-nom-nom people, will be screening for free at Goodale Park. That's right, friends. A free screening of JAWS, complete with free popcorn and social distancing, is going down at Screen on the Green, and you're invited. I can already hear the iconic music playing.

Hot Hot Heat 🔥

July 1934 was the hottest month in Ohio's history. From Ohio History Connection: "

Many heat records were set on July 21, including 106 in Columbus, 109 in Cincinnati, and 111 in Wilmington and Hamilton. ... On July 21, 1934, Ohio’s hottest temperature was recorded by a weather station four miles northwest of Gallipolis at 113 degrees.

I won't go so far as saying Topiary Park is just as beautiful from the air, but only because it's such a neat place on the ground. 🌳🌳
