Hello, Monday. Chelsea here!

I hope you all enjoyed the beautiful weather over the weekend. I enjoyed the much-needed sunshine a little bit too much, officially earning my first

light

sunburn of the year. With the weather finally on the up and up, we can all shed our sweatpants, put away Netflix, and start adventuring a little more.

While we're on the topic of adventures, I've got your next one right here. Did you know that within a 3-hour drive of downtown Columbus, you can find nine amazing, enchanting castles? The Ohio countryside is more than just flat fields. These unique structures may not be as ancient as the castles you'd find throughout Europe, but several were built in the 19th century and they've all got their own stories to tell.

Monday Weather 🌑April showers πŸŒ§ bring May flowers 🌼🌸... right? Today will be Mostly sunny 🌀, with showers likely in the afternoon and evening. High of 64F.

CCAD students will transform a bus, stationed at Broad & High, into an epic art installation with activities ranging from yoga to poetry readings. Columbus Startups to WatchOur fair city is getting quite a reputation. As a great place for fledgling businesses that is. Lover of all things business, Evan Weese takes a look at eight Columbus startups to keep an eye on.

Around Town 🏘I've always been intrigued by Cirque du Soleil. I'm not a fan of traditional circuses, I blame a second grade trip that involved a clown and an exploding balloon animal. But Cirque is different. It's artistry and ingenuity all under one big top and done in a way that I personally find much less terrifying. So getting a behind the scenes peak is pretty sweet. Want to see what goes into creating a show like Cirque du Soleil Corteo? Columbus Underground has the goods. [Columbus Underground]The ability to work together, to pool resources and use them for the greater good is one of my favorite things about humanity. It's also essential for the science community. Collaboration makes science stronger, which in turn makes society as a whole stronger. That's what Brad Lepper, Curator of Archaeology at the Ohio History Connection, discovered while trying to interpret objects found in ancient American sites [Dispatch]I have a confession to make fam. I am totally a fan of soap operas. I grew up watching CBS daytime dramas with my grandparents and sisters. The Young and the Restless was my JAM and if you've ever watched the ridiculous-yet-entertaining soap, you'll know that the Genoa City Athletic Club was the backdrop for many a twist and turn on the show. The first time I ever stepped foot in the Columbus Athletic Club, I was totally transported. In hindsight, that set was probably the most authentic thing about the whole show. Our own AC has it's own timeless beauty, to be sure, but that doesn't mean it couldn't use a little update. The recent renovations at the Columbus Athletic Club retain that old-school vibe while bringing it safely into the 21st century. Take a behind the scenes look over at Columbus Business First. Longread Stoners of the world are coming off of quite a high weekend, so what I'm about to say maybe a little shocking to them. In Oregon, growers have too much weed laying around. A gram of green is going for less than the cost of a glass of wine, and it's largely due to the fact that the state was too efficient at growing marijuana, with supply overtaking demand. Medical marijuana is right around the corner here in Ohio, but right now with the process being so bogged down in red tape, it's hard to ever imagine our state will suffer from a surplus of weed. But just in case, we should pay attention to how other states are handling the legalization process.  Oregon Grew More Cannabis Than Customers Can Smoke.
