Changes π
More than 20,000 competitors will still be allowed to participate in the Arnold Sports Festival this weekend, but spectators will be out of luck due to fears of coronavirus spread. The trade show will be canceled, and no spectators will be permitted save for some finals events happening Sunday. More than 200,000 visitors had been expected for Columbus this weekend.

A Historic District π
The German Village Commission has rejected, for a 5th time, a German Village hotel proposal for 31-35 E. Livingston Ave. The proposed hotel would have stood five stories, with 127 rooms, a reduction from earlier proposals, but the Commission decided the height, massing, and architecture did not meet the historic district's guidelines.

is an architectural term for "a path created as a consequence of erosion caused by human or animal foot-fall traffic". This great photo of Ohio State's oval is a terrific example of building according to natural human traffic. The paths eventually built are laid down, at least partially, on the paths students were naturally beating into the ground. Trust me on this one, the photo linked below is probably cooler than my description here.
