Hello, Wednesday! Chelsea here.

I’ve always been a sucker for a clear December night. After all the skywatching treats we’ve had this year, it kinda feels like December is saving the best for last. One of the year’s brightest meteor showers is streaking across the sky, Jupiter is hanging out with the Moon like it’s posing for a holiday card, and a rare interstellar comet making it’s closest approach to Earth. Honestly, it’s pretty incredible. Check out our guide to catching the Geminids, spotting the Moon–Jupiter duo, and maybe even glimpsing Comet 3I/ATLAS right here in Central Ohio.

If there’s one sure fire way to jump into the holiday spirit, it’s a visit to the Huntington Holiday Train at Main Library. The miniature world is back in all its twinkly, tiny glory and it’s just as magical as you remember.

🎅 Holiday Hop Turns The Short North Into A Walkable Winter Wonderland
High Street is trading traffic for festive cheer on Saturday, December 6! Holiday Hop turns the Short North into a walkable winter wonderland full of art, live music, shopping, treats, and surprises around every corner.
