A snowy winter might be ahead for Columbus. ❄️

TGIF. James here.

I always find the different reactions to winter in central Ohio interesting. You can see the dynamic play out on any local weatherperson's FB page, where the comments in the winter boil down to two camps, those hoping for mountains of snow, and those dreading every flurry. The latter won out last year with below average snowfall totals.

Who will be happy this winter? The NOAA and Farmer's Almanac are both in with their predictions for the winter ahead, and it does look like a wet one due to a potential La Niña situation developing. Chelsea looks at what that means and if wet will mean snow or rain at the link below. Navigator full story: A Snowy Winter May Be Ahead For Columbus [Wiley]

The family's attorney says Pedro Hernandez-Ramirez was a low priority for previous administrations, at least partially due to his role as a caregiver, noting that he is the only family member who has the strength to lift his son into the house and transfer him from place to place.
