Do you remember the days before Yelp, and, dare I say, Columbus Navigator? Those were dark days. You had plans with friends and wanted to hit up a cool venue with a patio, or maybe even a rooftop spot with a view. But what to do? Rely on word of mouth alone? That might cause you to end up someplace less than awesome. 🍺🍸

Phew. I was thinking back to my college days there for a minute.

Thank goodness

we now have a plethora of resources for gettin' our drank on outdoors, and up high. Not that kind of high 🍀.

The weather is looking picture perfect this weekend. Partly cloudy Friday ⛅ with a high of 86, mostly sunny Saturday

As far as I'm concerned, this calendar should include one thing, and one thing only. The

, of course. But, I guess some of you may not have the same high brow taste as me (😉) so for you, we've got plans. Big plans. Huge. 

You can officially give your kid an answer the next time they ask when LEGOLAND Discovery Center is opening at Easton. The grand opening sounds pretty exciting, and it may, or may not,  include a giant LEGO wall being smashed instead of a ribbon cutting. (Just kidding, it totally will)

After a year of slingin' ribs from a mobile trailer, while gathering quite a local following, Legacy Smokehouse is coming to Greenlawn Ave 🍗. Much of my childhood was spent at Berliner Park, and I know a lot of hungry softball players who are going to be excited about this. 🍖 [ThisWeekNews]You guys, this is super exciting 💯. A "mini North Market" and brewery is likely headed for Hilliard. While plans are yet to be approved by the planning commission, a target open date of Memorial Day is on the calendar. I'd never heard of "Crooked Can" Brewing before, but I'm already sure it's my new favorite. [614Now]Marshall McPeek has been a favorite meteorologist of locals for years, first at NBC4, now at WSYX6 and FOX. On air he's a little bit corny, but jovial and entertaining. But at an LGBTQ journalists conference this weekend, he made a controversial remark that's turning his sunny demeanor into a cloudy day. The forecast is calling for storms for McPeek.
