Sponsored by the Decorative Arts Center of Ohio
It's an Honor to Be Here celebrates Ohio's diverse artists and their connection to nature. Ohio-based artists, spanning the state, use various media to interpret the natural world. Thanks to support from the Payne Fund, Ohio Humanities, and the National Endowment for the Humanities, this exhibition brings nature and art together. The exhibition runs through December 31 at the Decorative Arts Center of Ohio. Please click here for more info.

Hello Friday! Chelsea here.

I know I can’t be the only one that is so excited that it’s the weekend. I won’t lie, this has felt like a long week and I couldn’t be more excited to go out and celebrate Halloween this weekend. There are so many awesome things happening around town (which we’ll get to later on) but I know that big parties, crowded bars, and massive sporting events aren’t for everyone. If you’re looking for something a little less crowded, I highly suggest taking a mini-road trip. It’s a beautiful time of year to explore Ohio and there’s so much to see.

In this line of work, I come across a lot of random studies. But even I have to admit that seeing that Columbus ranks in the Top 5 Best Cities for Vampires piqued my interest immediately. Well, if you’re experiencing the same moment of wonder, I’m here to help. We’ve got all of the details and let’s just say, Columbus isn’t the only Ohio city that’s mentioned.
