What’s the most obnoxiously rich suburb of Columbus? 🏘

Happy Friday. It's James.

A national website names the most obnoxiously rich suburbs for the 35 largest cities in America.

Make your guess, then take your chances. Upper Arlington, Dublin, Powell, Westerville, Bexley, New Albany, an exurb/suburb like Galena? Could be any! I think their choice for Columbus is tough, but fair.

Friday Weather 🌑75. Sunny. What a great stretch of weather this week, right? β˜€οΈ

[Arney]Once someone lies, it's fair to question everything they say from that point on. I look at how easily Austin could get screwed here too.

Around Town 🏘Columbus, and Hilliard, have been named one of the top 10 hottest housing markets in America by two separate rankings. Ten-X named Columbus the 4th hottest housing market behind three Texas cities, and Realtor.com named Hilliard (specifically the 43026 zip code) the 10th hottest in the country. [Dispatch/Weiker]Scientific American looks at the opiate crisis in Ohio, and how science is being looked to for solutions. [Scientific American]The bid Columbus made to Amazon is now out there. A 15 year tax abatement, a 15 year 35% income tax abatement for employees, a "smart transit" plan, and reimbursements for land acquisition and prep are all parts of the offer. It's extremely generous, but it's not hard to imagine other cities offering even more. [Dispatch/Rouan]

Columbus Crew Relocation Roundup ⚽️A Crew supporter rally is being held Sunday at noon in front of city hall. [Save The Crew Rally]The team is refusing to give season ticket refunds for 2018. The entire renewal process was apparently moved up this year, and felt pretty aggressive to me. It is some dirty business to not let people opt out now. [ESPN]Precourt tweeted, and it went about how you'd expect, with fans teeing off on him. [USAToday]Columbus Crew fans contemplate life without a team. Article mentions the Browns, and I really feel for Columbus residents who are Browns/Crew fans who have already gone through this once in their lives. [FourFourTwo]A Seattle blog views this through the lends of the NBA leaving Seattle. One of the worst things about sports in America is that teams move, and the world just goes on. It's a tragedy to supporters in cities that lose teams. [Sounder At Heart]
