The 5 Most Overlooked Hidden Haunts In Columbus 👻

2+3x18 Decorative Arts Center of Ohio exhibit

Sponsored by Decorative Arts Center Of Ohio and their new exhibition 2+3x18: Rooted in tradition from the Byzantine, Medieval, and Renaissance eras, diptychs (two-paneled pieces) and triptychs (three-paneled pieces) have been used to tell stories through the ages. This exhibition features 18 contemporary Ohio artists who have used the diptych and triptych to create remarkable stories, some focused on personal experiences and others on a life-long interest or idea. More info right here. 👩‍🎨🎨

Since it's October, I feel like we can officially start talking about spooky stuff. From a downtown bar to a literal pet cemetery, Columbus has some overlooked haunted spots. Today we're diving in headfirst to learn a little bit more about what makes them so spooky.

HighBall Halloween is one of my favorite events all year long in Columbus. When the pandemic first started having real impacts here in Ohio, I was really hoping that somehow we'd be through the worst of it by now and we'd still get to get all dressed up and take over High Street. Even though that won't be happening, there will still be a month-long virtual costume contest and I can't wait to see what all of you have planned this year!

The chemical agents used by police forces across the country this summer during protests have come under scrutiny and for good reason. They've had extreme impacts on people sprayed with them and Matter News takes an in-depth look at the chemicals used by CPD and their effects.
