Happy Friday! Chelsea here.

I never enjoy being the bearer of bad news, but let's just rip the bandaid off. Red, White & Boom has been canceled this year. I'm certain that communities surrounding Columbus will still be hosting fireworks events, but the biggest show in the midwest won't be happening... not in July anyway. Let's get into it and move onto some happier news, friends.

I am absolutely in love with idea of floating around in a giant wave pool while watching a movie. And I'm beyond excited that one of the films in the line up will be a Christmas in July special: National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation.

Is it weird to get excited about public restrooms? If you've ever been downtown and had to pee, you can probably understand why I'm pretty jazzed that the city is finally offering some public toilet options.

I adore the Ohio Theatre and it's nice to hear that something good actually came out of the theatre having to be closed. They were able to make some much needed repairs and updates to this gorgeous, historic place. The first show will be put on by the Columbus Symphony this weekend and it's really great to see the place come to life again.

🌳 Jeffrey Mansion was donated to the city of Bexley in 1941 and the grounds have since become a beautiful park. The more than 40 acres include some very relaxing short walks like the one pictured above, and it's all bordered by Alum Creek. We loved it all enough to put it in our list of
