It's time to make some weekend plans, Columbus! Let's do this ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿป๐ŸŒ†

Happy Friday, everyone! It's Chelsea.

Good morning, Columbus. It's official, you aren't dreaming. It's

finally

Friday. This weekend is going to be hopping, pun intended. It's Easter which means the city is going to be covered in candy-filled eggs, just waiting for tiny humans to gobble them up.

But what are the rest of us supposed to do? Don't worry your pretty little head. No one should be worrying on Friday! There is plenty happening around town. From Lorde at the Schott to the NCAA Women's Final Four championship at Nationwide, this city is going to be bustling. So open up your calendar app because you have plans to make.

Friday Weather ๐ŸŒกI know that it's technically spring, but let's be real, it doesn't feel like it yet. Today there is only a high of 47. The morning is going to start off with snow showers ๐Ÿ˜ฒ๐ŸŒจ (I know fam, I'm not happy about it either) with those flurries turning to rain as we move into the afternoon. It will be cloudy and gray, as usual. At least we all have each other. ๐Ÿ˜˜๐Ÿ˜˜

This city was changed for the better when he started ShadowBox Live in 1988, and we'll never forget him. These King Ave. Student Apartments Are Some Of The Most Visually Distinctive In ColumbusSometimes construction takes so long that we forget what we're even waiting on. ๐Ÿ™„๐ŸšงAll around C-bus, new development projects are popping up. Take a look a back at the King Ave. Student Apartments, from their early battles to get into the neighborhood to the visually-stunning final product.

Around Town ๐Ÿ˜Get your tissues ready people, this one will tug at your heartstrings. Comet the Shiba Inu went missing from his Clintonville home in February. His owner Tayla Renee Miller thought she would never see him again. But because there is some good still left in this world, the duo was reunited, and trust me, it's one for the ages. [This Week]Aaron Brown loves board games. He has since he was a kid. When the Dayton native moved to Columbus via New York City, he brought an idea for a business with him: a place where people get together and play games, a place to start his "nerd empowerment movement". He opened Tabletop Game Cafe in 2016 and the rest is history. [Buisness First]A new documentary is telling the story of Columbus resident, Ramona Isbell, and her experience as one of the few black female wrestlers in the 1960s and 1970s. The film, Lady Wrestler: The Amazing, Untold Story of African-American Women in the Ring, premiered last night at the Wexner Center and will be shown around the country before heading to Amazon.
