Happy Friday! Chelsea here.

Good morning, friends! I don't know about the rest of you, but I am super ready for the weekend. It's not that I had a bad week, at all. I got to do some really cool stuff, but I'm just ready to spend the weekend with my husband and eat some delicious food around Columbus. Speaking of those cool things I got to do this week, the highlight was, by far, getting a behind-the-scenes tour of Otherworld. We first visited a few months back, and I can't believe the progress that's been made. I'm officially hyped for the grand opening. I already know that I'll probably go about 100 times. 😍🀩

Talking Points ❀️

Whittling away πŸ’Έ

The Ohio Senate

, just a third of what Governor Mike DeWine had requested. The tax, if it goes into law following reconciliation with the Ohio House, will take effect on July 1st and will also include a new $175 registration fee for electric vehicles, and $75 registration fee for hybrids, fees. Neither the House nor the Senate pegged their tax increases to inflation for future hikes, as DeWine requested. The House and Senate must now push the transportation budget through reconciliation, with a deadline of March 31st.

You may have heard that China is now

, leading to serious issues with the way we handle recyclables, and wondered if the problem would make its way to Columbus.
