Baby boxes are coming to Columbus to help deal with a spiking infant mortality rate

The infant mortality rate in Columbus has been higher than average for awhile, but a program designed to lower that number is coming to Ohio. Taking inspiration from a Finnish program, The Baby Box Company, teaming up with Ohio non-profits and hospitals, will be issuing boxes filled with diapers, baby wipes, and other baby related goods to new parents. The goodies are helpful, but the real difference maker is the box, which is lined with a thin mattress. The Rundown:Weather: 36.
