Happy Friday! Chelsea here.

We did it, guys. We survived a super rainy week and today, we'll finally be rewarded with sunshine! Since we've all spent the week embracing all of the indoor activities Columbus has to offer and barely venturing out into the torrential downpours, I think it's probably time to head out into the city for dinner! And since it's always more fun to go out to dinner and get out of the restaurant without spending an arm and a leg, I wanted to share something with you. Listen up, families! We've got a list of the places where your kiddos can eat for free (and very cheap) every day of the week! Don't have kids? Take a look anyway. Maybe you can pass for 12 and under! πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‰

Have you ever wanted to stand center stage at the Ohio Theatre and sing your heart out? Well, I can't guarantee that you can sing, but you can certainly take a peek behind the curtains on CAPA's upcoming walking tour! Three iconic theatres are participating and you can get free tickets to the CAPA Summer Movie series just for exploring!

I don't know what I was expecting from this seemingly tiny German Village cottage, but it wasn't this. It's a real jaw-dropper. I don't want to give too much away, but I'll say this: Original, exposed hardwood beams. 😍

Including Columbus Food And Wine Festival, Watershed Gin Jam, And Half Price Books Clearance Expo. I'll be at the Willy Nelson Outlaw Festival, so if you're there, be sure to say hi!

Scabs Aren't A Great Solution, Who Knew πŸ’Έ

It turns out the scab farm Columbus City Schools want to hire in the event of a teacher's strike had issues

. The company could only fill 1/3rd of positions, and the people who showed up were seat fillers, sometimes sleeping on the job and doing little.
