One of the best day trips in Ohio is just an hour south west

Hello Friday. It's James.

There's no shortage of great day trips from Columbus. One of the best has to be Yellow Springs. From the gorgeous parks, to Young's Jersey Dairy Farm, it's a great place to spend a day, especially in the summer time. Chelsea Wiley explores why you need to schedule some time soon for Yellow Springs.

If Pittsburgh can do it, I think it's fair to say Columbus should as well. Ohio might be a reach with Governor Kasich, but what's realistic isn't always what's right.Whoa, baby! The Friday Conversation:I took the ACT one time, got a score that was good enough for me, and had zero desire to take it again. (I'm not sure I wouldn't have done worse on a second try anyway.) Many Reynoldsburg (and other district) students will not have the chance to make a similar decision, as ACT is refusing to score their tests, due to their error in sending an incorrect test to 21 districts on April 19th. Students will get a voucher to take the test again, which is nice, I guess, but kind of a kick in the teeth at the same time. [Neese, Candisky/Dispatch]I think Obetz is a thing that's going to happen. They had the fastest rising home prices so far this year, with 28% gains. Buyers are being priced out of pricier suburbs (the get in the door price in places like Bexley and Upper Arlington is getting to be $300k+) and areas like Obetz and Whitehall are benefiting. [Weiker/Dispatch]Ever wonder what empty big box retail locations might be good for? Huntington Bank is turning an empty Meijer's into an operations center that will eventually accommodate 1,400 employees. The pictures are interesting and show how these places can be transformed into very modern office space. [Weese/Business First]Google has released the most misspelled words by state.
