Hello, Friday! Chelsea here.
There’s something about July that always makes me a bit restless. I find myself looking for adventures and places to explore, and here in Ohio, we’ve got some spots that definitely live up to the hype. If you’ve ever wanted to climb to the top of a 12-story observation tower, wander through a massive canopy walk that rises 65 feet over the forest floor, or just spend a day exploring one of Ohio’s most underrated natural spaces, then I have just the spot for you. It’s definitely a full day trip so pack a picnic and hit the road. I promise, you won’t regret it.

It’s officially camping season. There’s nothing like waking up to a 90-degree tent (I’m kidding… sort of). Camping has its challenges, sure, but it’s also an excellent way to disconnect for a little bit and just enjoy some nature. Luckily, there are some incredible places around Ohio to pitch a tent and relax.

I really believe that most animals are stinking adorable when they’re babies. And in my humble opinion, there’s nothing more adorable than a baby gorilla. The Columbus Zoo has been home to some absurdly cute newborn gorillas over the years, but there’s something so freaking charming about this new one and I can’t wait to see it in person soon!
