We miiiight receive some measurable snow today, which would be a real outlier after the month we have had. The Ohio State College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences recently published the article below discussing how Ohio's climate has shifted in recent decades. Winters have been warming twice as fast as summers, and the climate has also become wetter, with this past decade being the wettest decade on record. January 2020 in Ohio has been 8-12 degrees warmer than average. Counterintuitively, the increase in rain has not protected Ohio from drought - by last October 80% of the state was severely dry, and 30% was in moderate drought.
