I know that when the weather is cold, it's hard to imagine

wanting

to go outside, but trust me on this one. First, and most importantly, winter is the best time to go on a hike because there are no bugs. Second, it's absolutely, jaw-droppingly beautiful. Seriously! If you've never taken a moment to appreciate Ohio when it's a little frozen, you're missing out.
