How is everyone doing this morning? I can't believe the weekend is upon us already! Not that I'm complaining. I've got some big sledding plans in the works and I'm so ready to just spend a few hours having a little fun that my 32-year-old body probably won't appreciate as much as it did when I was a kid. But there's so much snow on the ground that it only seems right to get out there and make the most of it.
My other weekend plans include daydreaming about the newest brewery headed to Bridge Park in Dublin. The Getaway has the travel vibes I've been missing and I can't wait to check it out.

I'm really excited by the idea of adding some Bus Rapid Transit routes to Columbus. I love their bus-train-hybrid vibes and any additional public transportation in this town is a win in my book! This has some real potential.

Sadly, the Columbus Arts Festival won't be back this summer, due to ongoing concerns over COVID-19. But they will be back in 2022 and they're moving up the river to a new location.

This is the year
we'll find out if Ohio's new system for drawing congressional maps will result in fairer maps. The new rules will require legislators to keep more counties together, but since there is very little penalty for failing to gain buy-in from the minority party (such a scenario simply means the maps will only be valid for four years, instead of ten) I'm skeptical.
