I have always loved what Columbus Children's Theatre does for young performers in our city. But they've really gone above and beyond this year. Since they couldn't have a live stage show for the holidays, they made a Christmas movie that will leave you smiling from ear to ear.

On December 22 and 23, you can visit this awesome reindeer farm north of Columbus with the family. Usually, it's an open farm tour, but for the safety of visitors, you can only visit by appointment. The spots are filling up quickly so if it sounds like something your family would enjoy, don't hesitate to book your appointments!

Columbus can be such a weird place sometimes. That's what I love about it and even I have to admit, the first thing I thought when I saw this video wasn't anything logical like, "why is he naked except for a panda hat?" or "is this safe?" It was genuinely "I didn't know you could go that fast on rollerblades!" Whether you love it or hate it, it happened, and for a little while, this video is going to be what people think of when they think about Columbus.

There are so many things
that have been effected by the pandemic that are so important and it's nearly impossible to keep track of them all or give anything appropriate attention versus the constant drumbeat of pandemic news and national poltiics. This is about one of those things, and it's great reporting from Joel Oliphint (as usual).

Weather:
34 and mostly cloudy
Coronavirus Updates π
11,412 new cases
, 370 new hospitalizations, 117 newly reported deaths. Trend graph
New Ohio covid-19 data:
-596,178 cases (11,412 new)
-33,745 hospitalized (370 new)
-7,894 dead (117 new, varying dates of death)Some of these new cases are likely offshoots of yesterday's "technical difficulties"
But these death numbers are dreadful
