Here are the best things happening around the city this weekend 😎🍺🎸

Happy Friday, Y'all. It's Chelsea.

Fridays are always my favorite. But this amazing weather has me dreaming of pumpkin spice, football games, and fall leaves. Big mood. But just because I want it to be fall doesn't mean that summer fun has to stop. We've still got a few weeks, right? There is a ton going on around town this weekend, but as usual, Tess has found the best stuff and put it all in one convenient place. ✌🏼😎

 Friday Weather 🌡

High of 80. Mostly sunny ☀️with a slight chance of rain 🌦in the early evening. Low of 66.

After a long week at work, we can all feel a little salty. We may as well embrace it, right? If you are a sucker for a good soft pretzel, then do not pass go, do not collect $200, just head straight for that link.

I think growing up in the late 90s/early 2000s was the absolute best time to be a kid. I'm sure everyone will disagree, but there's one factor that sets us above the rest: we got to be kids with Harry Potter. Most people my age who read the books are still, admittedly, fans of the series, which is why this epic Harry Potter dance party at Skully's will probably sell out in no time.

👑

Because I live under a rock (apparently) I just started watching Ru Paul's Drag Race. If you haven't seen the award-winning series, you're missing out. But after you get really invested in a solid binge watch, nothing is better than stepping out on the town and catching some gorgeous queens IRL.

 Around Town 🏡

At the start of each school year, teachers around the world are tasked with one very important goal: To get to know their students. One Hilliard teacher believes the best way for her students to introduce themselves is through self-portraits.

If I've said it once, I've said it a thousand times. My life would be so much easier if I had an assistant. Now, am I actually busy enough to warrant an assistant or am I just disorganized? We'll never know... Luckily, Columbus has an agency specialized in providing the perfect personal assistant.

Those of us who live and work in Columbus know that it's a downright swell place to be. But the rest of the country likes to "discover" our unique community over and over again. Not that I have a problem with being nationally recognized... it feels pretty good, right? Smart Asset named Columbus the #1 city to live and work in tech.

"It is a parent’s job to think her children are exceptional. Up to this point, I had spent many hours crafting a tale for myself that Leo’s fascination with fans was, in fact, proof of his genius. Now I was imagining a roomful of Leos, all in tiny white lab coats, all saving the world one vactrain at a time. Their origin stories were the same: “It all started,” they would say, “with the Lasko Wind Machine.”Wired: One Young Boy's Magnificent Obsession With Fans
