Welcome to your weekend, friends! There’s so much happening around Columbus this weekend, which we’ll get into later, but I wanted to kick this morning off with some fantastic news. Octagon Earthworks, part of the UNESCO World Heritage site in Newark, is finally going to be open to the public. It comes after a very, very long battle with a golf course that was operating on top of the site. It’s a beautiful space that so deserves the opportunity to be explored by the public. Fort Rapids has been a blight on the east side of this city for a few years now, but that could be changing soon. Franklin County Environmental Court has issued an arrest warrant for the owner, and it’s a big deal.

The situation with the hackers that executed a cyber attack on the City of Columbus has escalated. They’ve now listed 6.5 terabytes of data for auction, and that could spell trouble for city, Franklin County Municipal Court clerk, and judge employees.
