Happy Friday! Chelsea here.

This week was sort of a wild one, and honestly, I'm glad it's almost over. Not only because it was long, but also because there are a lot of awesome things happening all around the city. But the thing I'm the most excited about is this upcoming warehouse sale at Columbus Architectural Salvage. You know we're big fans of that place (

), and I'm an even bigger fan of saving money, especially when it comes to DIY projects. Let's go dig through things together, fam. πŸ’Έ

Navigator Feature Story:

Navigator Originals ✏️

 πŸŽ¨πŸš’

Also on the list of things I'm very excited about this weekend: this art show. I used to go to art shows all the time when my husband was still in school at CCAD. I don't know if it's the nostalgia or just the seriously impressive art, but I'm a sucker for them. Plus this one is in a super dope location and it's free. That's a win-win.

Experience the straight-up majesty that is one of Central Ohio's finest experiences: The Dawes Arboretum. My first experience with Dawes was going to a wedding there a few years back, and I fell in love, hardcore. It's a stunning place that feels so secluded and peaceful. Treat yo self. You deserve it.

I know what you're thinking by now. "How am I going to have time to do all of these amazing things?". Well, bad news. You won't. But you can do some of them, at the very least. And most importantly, you can have fun while doing it. Even if you aren't doing anything this weekend, you should still check out the list. It's always good to know which areas to avoid when it comes to traffic.

Around Town ❀️

Prints & Pints 🎨🍺

15 artists have collaborated with Upright Press and local breweries to create posters featuring 15 Columbus-area breweries. The prints will be on sale tomorrow at the Daily Growler in the Brewery District, and I highly recommend checking it out. The prints from previous years were jaw droppingly good, and I know the artists involved this year are all phenomenally talented.

, and

, which guarantees you one poster (of your choice) and a beer.

ODOT Still Sucks? 🏑

Changes may be coming to the "ODOT Sucks" house (

or aren't familiar with the saga). The house apparently sold in May of 2018, and surprisingly the sign is still up. The new owner is renovating the home but says "we'll just have to wait and see" when it comes to taking down the sign. He also expressed understanding of the sign, saying that when 161 came in "A lot of families were torn apart by it."

(possible paywall).

The Cutest New Addition To Columbus 🦌

We've been blessed with a new Zoo baby. It's a Siberian Musk Deer, and she's incredibly adorable -

Voter Purges πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

A new voter purge has started in Ohio,

. Ohio law says removal is legal if a voter hasn't moved in six years and doesn't respond to a mailer sent to their address on file. Well over 1,000 voters in Franklin County

in the first wave of mailings, and so Ohio Democrats are calling for a halt and independent review.
