Hello Friday, Tracie here.

Remember yesterday when I talked about loving to snoop through people's homes? The next best thing?  Yard sales of course. Or, for you meme lovers, "

."  Sometimes you find something perfect as-is, sometimes it takes a little bit of vision. And with the recent success of shows like "Fixer Upper" and "Flea Market Flip," lots of folks

have

that vision. 😎

In my bargain-loving opinion, there's no better sale than German Village's Village Valuables 😍, but there are treasures to be found all over town, and all throughout the coming months. And, if you happen to come across any antique metal toolboxes, let me know, would ya?

Weekend Weather 🌡Friday will be our warmest day, high of 67 👌. Mostly dry the rest of the weekend, just a slight chance of 🌂 Saturday. Highs in the mid 50's.

Speaking of yard sales and treasure hunting, Vintage Market Days is happening this weekend, among other great options, and it'll be warm...ish. Just remember, it's time for the Cap City Half as well  🏃, adjust your route accordingly.

There's nothing like cracking the cover of a brand new book 📚.  And it's so easy to pop on Amazon and order that new release, or that classic you'd love to read again. But, isn't it more fun to support a small business, and maybe stumble across another title you didn't know you needed 📘? Celebrate Bookstore Day tomorrow at one of these gems!

Around Town 🏘We've talked before about our fair city's changing reputation. Columbus is shedding it's cowtown image and embracing its role as a metropolitan mecca for both East and West coast transplants. 🏫 [New York Post]An ode to modern motherhood 👶, balancing career and family. Longread It's weird to think about a sitcom actor from "The King of Queens" being linked so closely to a real-life serial murderer, yet here we are. The internet, and especially Reddit, has been losing its collective mind over the recent capture of the alleged suspect in the long-unsolved California murders. While it's yet to be confirmed officially by the authorities, true crime writer Michelle McNamara, may have aided in identifying the suspect.
