Happy Friday! You might have noticed that we’ve been refreshing our website. The old girl turned 9 years old this February, so there were definitely parts that needed some attention.

One of the areas on the site we’ve been revamping is our huge list of things to do in Columbus. We intend for this to be comprehensive, something you can bookmark on your phone and refer to again and again. I’d love to know if there’s anything we missed. North Market is turning 150, and they’re celebrating in a way that feels very them. There’s a new anniversary beer in the mix, plus a look back at how this place has managed to stick around through just about everything.

🌳 The Franklin Soil and Water Conservation District is putting a bounty on Callery pear trees. 10 cities in Franklin County are participating and offering cash rewards for the removal of invasive trees and plants such as Callery pear trees, tree of heaven and more. Most communities are offering $100, with a high of $500 in New Albany. (NBC4)
