Hello, Friday! Chelsea here.
We're here at the end of another week, my friends. I sincerely hope you all had a relatively easy one. If the boredom is starting to creep in, I can assure you that you aren't alone. I'm fortunate enough to still be working, but that doesn't mean I'm not getting a little stir crazy. If you are hoping to spice things up this weekend and ready to add something new into your stay-at-home routine, we've got suggestions. And no, none of them technically require pants.

Some new cancellations, a protest, modeling debates, and new unemployment numbers are all part of today's update.

Columbus went through this phase where we just decided to tear a bunch of the cool, historical buildings down. Luckily, a few managed to scrape by relatively unscathed. They're not ancient, but they're all around 200 years old, which is still pretty impressive if you ask me.

I think we're all adjusting to a new way of doing things lately. If your new routine involves online meetings, then do yourself a favor and check out these amazing Columbus-themed backgrounds. They'll bring a little joy into your Zoom session, I promise.

This 30-second public service ad from the Ohio Department of Health is the most genius demonstration of social distancing's effectiveness I've seen. It accomplishes so much with just ping pong balls and mouse traps.

National Attention Part 2 β€οΈ
Cameron Mitchell appeared on CNN last night to talk about restaurant closures.
Governor DeWine also appeared on CNN, on Wednesday night, to talk about all of this.

Temps are looking a little not-springish over the next few days, but I still can't get enough of photos like this one. Lisa Sansome shares that we are looking at Kwanzan cherry trees at Westgate Park and if you happen to see anything like this that's fun and spring-like please use the #columbusnavigator hashtag. I definitely get a boost from seeing the season changes. π€πΈ
