Once upon a time, Columbus was home to a circus like no other: the Sells Brothers Circus, a dazzling spectacle that brought excitement, exotic animals, and incredible performances right to our doorstep. From elephant parades down High Street to wild west shows and traveling railroad caravans, this local circus was a beloved part of our city’s history. At the end of June, I had to deliver some sad news to you all. But sometimes life has little ways of cheering you up, and finding out that my favorite fish and chips spot isn’t closing permanently anymore and will open in a little over a week has certainlly done the trick. I cannot wait to get some hush puppies.
