If you’ve ever made the road trip from Columbus to Myrtle Beach, you know the pain: a seemingly neverending parade of stoplights, endless slowdowns, and the creeping realization you could’ve flown there by now. Well, there’s a plan that could change all that, a new interstate that would connect Michigan to South Carolina, passing right through Columbus. It’s called I-73, and while it sounds like a simple shortcut to the sand, it’s also a big-deal infrastructure project that could reshape parts of rural Ohio.
