🥂 Food for Thought: A Taste of the Canton Museum of Art is on view from September 27 – January 4. You can explore an exhibit that dives into what we eat, how we eat it, and the culture we create around the table. From American art to agricultural traditions, these works celebrate food as community, memory, and ritual. Come hungry for inspiration and gather around the CMA table! More info at decartsohio.org.
Hello, Friday! Chelsea here.
Europe at Christmas time has been a dream of mine for as long as I can remember. Visiting one of those twinkling holiday markets with cozy chalets, mulled wine, and the smell of fresh pretzels has been on my five-year plan for a while. Luckily, I won’t have to wait five years to get that experience because Dublin is bringing a European-style Christmas market to Central Ohio next year. Christkindlmarkt Dublin is set to debut in 2026, complete with festive booths, holiday treats, and plenty of charm.
P.S. Don’t forget to join us back here tomorrow morning. We’ll be doing a very bright and merry giveaway and you won’t want to miss your chance to win a cool holiday experience!

Headlines 📰
💸 Many Ohio families can expect higher prices for Thanksgiving staples this year, especially turkey, due to supply issues from the avian flu. But some retailers are offering discounts on select items, so savvy shoppers may still find deals. (WOSU)
🪕 Saintseneca, one of my all-time favorite Columbus bands, is back with Highwallow & Supermoon Songs and local release shows at Rumba Cafe this weekend. Zac Little sat down with Andy Downing to discuss his songwriting process, the album’s experimental twists, and why revisiting traditional songwriting can feel profoundly rewarding. (Matter News)
👏 A group of Olentangy High School seniors are proving you’re never too young to make a big impact. Their nonprofit, Brighten Initiative, has already donated over 9,000 hygiene items to local shelters and is gearing up to bring health education and advocacy to even more of the community. (NBC4)
